Amrutvahini College of Pharmacy Library was established in 2004. The AVCOP Library is situated on the first floor. The library has various sections, such as the circulation section, stack section, periodical section, reference section, and reading section. The AVCOP Library maintains a comprehensive collection of textbooks, reference books, CDs, and national, international, and e-journals. The total collection of library books is 9,104, and the total number of titles is 1,890. The library offers various services to its members.

1. Entry in Library -
Students should enter the library with their Identity card.
Enter the names in Library visit register is compulsory.
2. Working hours in library -
09.00am to 05.00pm (reading Hall)
09.00am to 05.00pm (issue & return)
3. Circulation System -
Every student can get 2 books at one time on behalf of library card for 7 days.
Before receiving student should check the books condition, there shall be penalty.
The same book can’t be renewed on that day.
No book shall be returned on the day of issue.
4. Overdue Charge -
If the books are returned after the due date, the student will be fined Rs. 2 per day.
5. Book Lost -
In case of loss of book the borrower is required to replace the book by a recent edition.
6. Care of library Borrowers Cards -
Handle the cards carefully.
Avoid folding & alteration of entries made on the cards.
7. Loss of Library card -
In case of loss library card the student should report to the librarian in writing application form.
After checking the borrower register student will be issued a fresh replacement card on payment rs.50/- per card.
8. Validity of Library card -
Library card is valid only for current academic year.
At the end of academic year student should return /cancel the library card in the library.
9. NO DUES Certificate -
At the end of academic year every student should close their account & get the NO DUES Receipt.
10. Care of Library Books -
Student are required to handle the book/journal very carefully.
Student is punished to fined, if he/ she is found in marking with pencil, writing or highlighting, tearing the page.
Librarian may ask to return book from any student at any time and it is compulsory to return the same immediately.
11. Reference Section –
In this section student can use their text books, reference book for their studies to be used only in the library.
12. General rules for students-
Silence should mentation.
Keep your personal belongings at the Property Counter.
Use of mobile phones is not permitted in the library.
Please maintain decorum, peace and silence within the premises of library.
A person shall not write upon damage or mark any book belonging to the library.
Smoking, pan chewing & spitting in the library is prohibited.
Personals book shall not be allowed inside the library. Please leave them at the property.
Membership privilege if a user can be suspended on account of misbehavior with the library staff or for indecent manners.
Reading room general rules for students
Reading room open from 09.00 am to 05.00 pm
Silence should be mentation.
Group discussion is not allowed in reading room

Use of computers/laptops :
1.Computer in the library premises should be used for academic purposes only.
2.Online chatting/dating, browsing of social networking sites are strictly prohibited. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against the defaulters.
3.Playing games on computers is strictly prohibited in the entire Library premises.
4.Readers must carry their ID card while using the Digital Library. They must show their ID card on demand.
5.Readers are not allowed to share their Internet access ID and Password with other students.
6.Changing the settings and display of the computers kept in the Library is not permitted.
7.Use of laptops in the cubical systems where computers are already installed is not permitted.
8.Readers should not remove/unplug computer cables/connections, network cables and other peripherals/accessories in the library.
9.Personal keyboard, mouse, etc. are not allowed inside the Library.
10.Students must take care of their Pen drives, CD/DVD ROMs, and wallets etc.

5. Information Display and notification : Library information such as Books, New Arrivals, Allied Books, Magazine, Library Rules, List of Journals, Notices, News Paper Clipping, and Faculty Authored Books etc. are regularly displayed on the Library Notice Board and Open Access Room.
