One Day National Conference- on Artificial Intelligence in Pharmaceuticals:Exploring News Ways for Research and  Development.

The national conference on “Artificial Intelligence in Pharmaceuticals: Exploring a New Way for Research and Development” in Association with Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI) on Saturday 22nd February was held with great enthusiasm at Amrutvahini Sheti & Shikshan Vikas Sansthas, Amrutvahini College of Pharmacy, in the esteemed presence of Honorable Shri. Balasaheb Thorat, Ex. Minister for Education, Govt. Of Maharashtra, President of Amrutvahini Sheti and Shikshan Vikas Sanstha, Sangamner.
Inauguration was started with lightning of lamp by the chief guest and dignitaries of the conference. The conference commenced with preface by Coordinator Ms.Davange R. M. Welcome address given by Principal Dr. M. J. Chavan. The programme followed by an inaugural speech from Hon. Shri Balasaheb Thorat who elobrated on the use Artificial Intelligence in day to day life. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Javed Ali.
Following the keynote address, a panel discussion was conducted featuring esteemed panelists, including:
Dr. Javed Ali, Head of the Pharmaceutical Department at the School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.
Dr. Sumit Arora, Assistant Professor, Gurunanak College of Pharmacy, Nagpur.
Dr. Ravindra Kulkarni, Professor, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Poona College of Pharmacy, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Pune
Dr. Urmila Aswar, Department of Pharmacology, Poona College of Pharmacy, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University, Pune
The discussion revolved around Artificial Intelligence in Drug Discovery, Machine Learning, Molecular Docking and AI tools in Research with panelists sharing their perspectives and experiences. The session engaged the audience with interactive quality assurance allowing attendees to gain deeper insights into critical issues and potential solutions.
Mrs. Sharayu Deshmukh Managing Trustee of AVSSVS, Mr. Anil Shinde Chief Executive Officer AVSSVS, Prof. V. B. Dhumal Manager AVSSVS , Dr. B. M. Londhe Director of MBA, along with all Head of Department, faculty and delegates from various University of Pharmacy were present.
